Trevor Collier earned his Ph.D. in economics from Southern Methodist University. He has a dozen publications in peer-reviewed academic journals and a chapter in Violence and Aggression in Sporting Contests: Economics, History and Policy. Collier’s research interests include labor economics, fisheries economics and the economics of sports. He is often engaged as a consultant for outside entities, including National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration-Fisheries, the Ohio Grocers Association and Pearson Education. Collier is currently the chair for the athletics advisory committee at the University of Dayton and served on the search committee that landed UD President Eric Spina.
