Application Requirements
To apply to MBA@Dayton or Analytics@Dayton, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Admission decisions are made on a rolling basis. Applications are now being accepted for the following start dates:

The sooner you apply, the sooner you can receive a decision from the admission committee. It is highly recommended that you apply by the priority application deadline to ensure that you have plenty of time to prepare for your first classes. Additionally, applicants who meet the early priority deadline will receive an application fee waiver.

Online Application
You will need to complete an online application form for the program you wish to pursue. If you are ready to begin, start your application now.
Test Scores
GMAT or GRE scores are not required to apply to Analytics@Dayton or MBA@Dayton. However, you may still submit scores as part of your application.
International applicants: If you are located outside the U.S., you must submit proof of English proficiency by providing official scores from one of the following:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based (IB) test or 550 on the paper-based test
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6.5
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 60
An English Proficiency Waiver (TOEFL/IELTS) will be granted only if the undergraduate degree was obtained from an institution where instruction was in English.
Use code KF2-KX-85 to send your GMAT test scores and institution code 1834 to send your GRE and English proficiency scores to the University of Dayton.
Academic Transcripts
Official academic records of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to the Office of Graduate Admission Processing. Hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked “Issued to Student” and unofficial copies are not acceptable. We request that all transcripts be sent to:

Please note: To be considered an official transcript, the transcript must be sent directly from your institution(s) or through an electronic transcript vendor retained by that institution. Transcripts submitted by enrolled or prospective students are considered unofficial documents, even if they are in a sealed envelope provided to you by the issuing university.
Transcripts being sent electronically can be emailed to applicationservices@onlinemba.udayton.edu to ensure delivery.
Professional Work History
You must submit a current resume as part of your application.
If you are seeking course waivers for MBA@Dayton foundation courses based on professional work history, the admissions committee will use your resume and optional statement to determine which course waivers, if any, you will be granted. Please make sure to provide a detailed description of relevant work experience including dates, specific day-to-day responsibilities and outcomes that prove proficiency in the course content as described. Include specific examples.
Essay and Optional Statement
You must complete one essay to supplement your online application. An additional statement is optional and can address any information not included in the required essay.
If you seek foundation course waivers for MBA@Dayton based on professional experience, use the optional statement in your application to identify the specific courses you believe should be waived, and provide evidence (professional functions and responsibilities) of the skills you’ve developed that are covered in those courses.
Analytics@Dayton applicants may use the optional statement to demonstrate competency in linear algebra by detailing relevant certifications or experience.
Letters of Recommendation
MBA@Dayton requires at least one professional letter of recommendation from a current or former supervisor, superior or manager who is familiar with your competencies, abilities and qualifications. Personal and peer references will not be accepted and should not be submitted. Up to two additional letters of recommendation will be accepted, but are not required.
Letters of recommendation are not required to apply to Analytics@Dayton but will be accepted if you choose to submit them.
Application Fee
There is $50 application fee for both MBA@Dayton and Analytics@Dayton. The application fee will be waived for students who submit by the early priority deadline. Please inquire with your admission counselor for more information.
International Applicants
If you are an international student, attending MBA@Dayton or Analytics@Dayton does not make you eligible for a student visa. However, you will have opportunities for travel during MBA@Dayton immersions or the Analytics@Dayton capstone, and we encourage you to visit the University of Dayton campus in Dayton, Ohio.
Student Visa
If you are an international student, attending MBA@Dayton or Analytics@Dayton does not make you eligible for a student visa (including F-1 and J-1 students already in the U.S. if MBA@Dayton or Analytics@Dayton is your only intended degree program).
