To apply to MBA@Dayton, you must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. To complete your application, submit the following materials:

The GMAT/GRE requirement is waived if you have three years or more of relevant professional full-time work experience. However, if you qualify for the waiver, you may still submit scores as part of your application. The University of Dayton reviews the relevancy and duration of your professional experience and reserves the right to ask for additional clarification on any aspect.
International applicants: If you are located outside the U.S., you must also submit proof of English proficiency by providing official scores from one of the following:
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 80 on the internet-based (IB) test or 550 on the paper-based test
- International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with a minimum band score of 6.5
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic with a minimum score of 60
- English Proficiency Waiver (TOEFL/IELTS) Only waived if undergraduate degree was obtained from an institution where instruction was in English.

Official academic records of all previously attended colleges or universities must be submitted directly from the colleges or universities to the Office of Graduate Admission Processing. Hand-carried transcripts, official copies marked Issued to Student and unofficial copies are not acceptable. We request that all transcripts be sent to:

Essay and Optional Statement
You must complete one essay to supplement your online application. An additional statement is optional and can address any information not included in the required essay.
Letters of Recommendation
The University of Dayton requires at least one letter of recommendation from a current or former supervisor who is familiar with your competency, ability and qualifications. Personal references will not be accepted and should not be submitted. Up to two additional letters of recommendation will be accepted, but are not required.
There is $50 application fee for the MBA@Dayton program. Waivers may be available to those who qualify. Please inquire with your Admission Counselor for more information.
If you are an international student, attending MBA@Dayton does not make you eligible for a student visa. However, you will have opportunities for travel during MBA@Dayton immersions, and we encourage you to visit the University of Dayton campus in Dayton, Ohio.
